Terms of Service
Last updated 5 September 2026.
Rivero Ledger is a scorekeeper for home poker games. It records who played, what they bought in for, what they cashed out, and who therefore owes whom. Using the app means you agree to these terms.
What it is, and what it is not
- It keeps records. It is not a gambling service: no money moves through it, no bets are placed in it, and it takes no cut of anything. People settle up between themselves, away from the app.
- The sums it shows are worked out from what was typed in. Check them the way you would check anything written on paper at the table. The record is yours and your group's, not the app's word against anybody.
- You are responsible for making sure your game is lawful where you play, and for being old enough to play it. The app is for adults.
Your account
- You sign in with Apple or Google and pick a name, a username and, if you like, a photo. Keep your sign-in to yourself; what happens through it is yours.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Profile. That removes your profile, your username and your private ledger. Nights you played in shared trackers stay there, by name, for the people you played with; those are the table's records, not the account's.
Shared trackers
- A shared tracker is reached with its code, and the link that carries the code is the only thing standing between it and the world. Anybody with the link can open it and pass it on. Treat it like the address of the game itself.
- The tracker's owner sets who may do what, and may remove people. A removed person loses access to the tracker; the nights they played stay in its record.
- Don't put anything in a tracker that shouldn't be seen by everybody who has its link.
Hosting plans
Joining and playing are free. Running your own shared trackers requires a paid hosting plan: a subscription billed through the App Store that renews until you cancel it in your App Store subscription settings. If a plan lapses, trackers beyond its limit become read-only; nothing is deleted, and paying again unfreezes them. Prices are shown before you buy.
The app itself is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms cover the service it connects to.
Fair use
Don't use the app to break the law, to harass people, to get into trackers you were not given the code to, or to interfere with the service itself. Accounts used that way can be removed.
The service, as it is
Rivero Ledger is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. It is a scorekeeper for a home game, and to the fullest extent the law allows, its developer is not liable for losses arising from your use of it, including disagreements at the table, decisions made from its numbers, or interruptions of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
If the service or these terms change, this page changes with them and the date at the top moves. Using the app after a change means you accept the changed terms.
